Now that the cold has started to subside and the snow has begun to melt, I feel as though it is an appropriate time for me to start lusting after spring and summer fashions and making my list of must haves.
PJK Patterson J Kincaid Khloe Dress:
This 100% silk dress with a drawstring dropped waist is the perfect foray into the new season. Although I don’t tend to gravitate towards floral patterns, I absolutely love the whimsical color palette and design. This dress reminds me of “Flowers in a blue vase” by Vincent Van Gogh.
2. Alexandra Grecco Tulle Skirts.
If you are not familiar with Alexandra Grecco yet, you can thank me later. Her collection of tulle skirts, that were featured in Anthropologie last spring and sold out like hot cakes, are gorgeous elegant and a breathe of fresh air in a world overrun by A-line and pencil designs. Luckily you can still order the extremely popular Gretta tulle skirt directly through Alexandra Grecco’s website:
All of their pieces are made in New York City and they offer a discount of 15% on packages of 3 or more tulle skirts.
Colors Available: Dusty Blue (grey), Ivory or Black
I am absolutely lusting after the Natalie skirt in Peach. It rescinds me so much of the Ralph Lauren chiffon skirt that Jessica Alba wore to Fashion week last spring 2013 in NYC.
3. Kudos to supermodel Lily Aldridge for teaming up with Velvet to create this gorgeous wear-anywhere shirtdress. This dress has a great transitional quality with the ability to be dressed-up or dressed-down depending on accessory and shoe choice. A definite must for spring. Plus, I love that this is a gorgeous dress that you can just throw on and look great in. In other words, no deliberating on “Does this top go with this skirt?” Easy peasy and gorgeous!
PS- The song of the week is Fitz and the Tantrums’ “Walker” because now we are actually able to walk around NYC and enjoy it!
